Statute of Limitations:

Within one year after the personal representative is appointed, provided that date is no longer than two years after the date of death. KRS §413.180

Does discovery rule apply?

No, unless there was fraudulent concealment of the cause of death. Gray v. Commonwealth, Ky.App., 973 S.W.2d 61, 62-63 (1997)

Who has the right to bring suit?

A personal representative. Ky. Rev. Stat. Ann. §413.180

One Year. KRS § 413.140
